@Lurkero: It was on NBC and it actually had decent raitings (in NBC speak read great) only problem was the viewers were predominantly "old people" so they couldn't really get the ad money runing .It's about time we got some WAR in our War of 5(4) Kings.

Yikes that trailer seems like it was sealed up in a 90's time capsule and has only just been unleashed upon the world. The BBC and Kenneth Branagh did a good Wallander series back in 08 apparently they are making more for a third series in 2012.

Well other than just not seeing the movies the studios put out meaning no 2D and 3D showings I doubt they would get the message. These are really rich people who like making more money, telling them they shouldn't go for the thing that could possibly make them mroe money won't work. You have to stop giving them money all together. Which won't work for me since I like movies ...

Ya know I wasn't entirely sold on this film prior to seeing this. It looks totally bonkers but as an over the top bit of action cinema it can't be to bad. Holy crap the evil guy from A Knights Tale is in this!!! Double Sold.

IT completly glosses over the rich character history he has but he isn't the star Jim Carrey is Two-Face is simply the muscle. Lando as Dent would of been awesome but by this point WB wanted to distance themselves from Burtons films and the Batman license really moved into that James Bond territory of no real hard and fast continuity ...

Look I am pretty hype about Toonami being back. Both from a content and a good o'll power of the internet perspective. The fact im an unemployed college student who isn't going to college atm gives me plenty of time to watch cartoons from 12-6 am. That said Anime hasn't really been my thing since at least 2005 so I have no idea about shows like Durarara!!, Bleach or Fullmetal ...

I boo this decision. Isn't Febuary and March typically the dead months for studios where they throw all the crap movies they have to put out? Seriously post converted 3D hasn't gone over well at all. Do studios get more money generally from foreign theaters compared to US ones?

I remember hearing about this on the OpKino podcast. I wasn't to wowed with Another Earth but you and them have said this is far better. Is it shot like a handy cam found footage type of movie? I'll defiantly wait for it to show up on Netflix.

I generally don't like Baz Luhrmanns movies but if there was someone I'd want to give me a hyper stylized version of 1920's NY it would be him.Tobey Maguire could go either way in this one. He could do the doe eyed optimisim thing really well but at the same time it's Tobey Maguire. Also good on Joel Edgerton getting into more prestige y type projects.

I don't care about the 3D at all but I've been waiting for a trailer since I found out Luhrmann was doing this. Rome+Juliet is watchable, and I love Moulin Rouge. I don't get people complaining about how pretty it looks the whole book was about the shallowness of all the pretty stuff.
