Not greatest but definatly solid and under apreciated as far as remakes of Treasure Island go. Isn't this the movie that made Disney switch to full cg animated movies?

Gotta admit the idea of someone going Black Swan needed more Taken has me intrigued a little.

Emperor seems like an interesting historical drama Tommy Lee Jones already just jumps to mind when I think of "authority" figure so that could work. At the same time he might go a little to Tommy Lee Jones on us. Mathew Fox as an actor besides lost, and even than I credit the writers more for his work than himself, never really interested me. Maybe his preformance in that alex Cross movie could get me interested in him more.

For anyone who has yet to see Indie Game: The Movie and you have a Netflix account (normal disclaimer that by Netflix I mean one in NA) it is now on instant viewing. Guess I know what I'm doing in the hours prior to SOA and Vegas tonight.

So all those new shows are starting up. Funny how that works every year. One of the ones I was most interested in was Revolution that first trailer made it look awesome. Than I saw the pilot and I went from white hot to rather cold on the show. The second episode was better than the pilot, it still left me wondering how the character of Charlie could be so so annoying. There are sometimes that hayden christensen comes to mind when Tracy Spiridakos spoke. The blame, to me, should go to Kripke who has been cridedted as the writer for most of the episodes right now. At the same time the rest of the cast is OK to likable.

I'm definatly sticking around for the time being but it still is rocky.

Young Justice FINALLY comes back to US air waves with new episodes Saturday Sept. 29th (along with a new season of Star Wars the Clone Wars). So stare at some talking and moving images from the episode "Satisfaction". Clip 1 Clip 2 If those don't work for you try here (it requires Quicktime thought (ew)). The only thing that has been said about the episode is “Roy Harper seeks vengeance against the man who ruined his life." I'd also guess that fallout from Artemis's "death" will also eat up a nice chunk of the episode.

So who's hype?

This movie looks oddly entertaining. Something about it just makes me want to see it. Maybe not 10 bucks in theaters but sure Netflix.

If this gives me a Samurai Jack movie I'm good.

I'd go with Horror while it might not be as effective maybe the R raiting allows it to do some fun things from a SFX point of view. Comedy can be funny no matter the raitings. Well good comedy at least.

So a parody of a show within a show is now a show (well webseries). The Untitled Web Series About A Space Traveler Who Can Also Travel Through Time was a kickstarter that hits goal and has now been unleashed upon us.

I'm kind of meh on it all, not really a Doctor Who fan so a parody of it doesn't really do it for me. Still figured this might make people smile or laugh, perhaps even cry.

@RockinKemosabe: Well on the upside here is a Once Upon a Time S2 trailer . It should work.

Last Resort was a show that interested me as soon as the initial trailer dropped. Having just got down watching the pilot which you can see here ( I make no promises that if you live in say Canada this will work, sorry blame stupid corps). The pilot at least lives up to expectations, even if it really does suffer due to time constraints.

I don't really have anything in depth to say about it yet but this deserves to be seen so heads up yall.

O G4 you were kind of awesome in the 2004ish range when I had a black box and it was just videogames all the time. Than you started showing COPS. For the past 4(?) years I've only watched it for the E3 press conferences while I'd hang in the GB chat. I stopped going to their website once they lost Klepeck and Sessler.

This isn't too surprsiing a change though since it was rumored last year that the UFC was going to buy a piece of G4 from NBC Universal but they didn't in the end.

Review Like Water

Does the name Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje ring a bell? What about the name, Mr. Eko? The former played the latter (that's the correct usage of the term right) in Lost and was a victim of the smoke monster.

Variety reports that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has been cast as Kurse originally known as Algrim the Strong and is the leader of the Dark Elves. This also confirms that the Dark Elves villians of Thor: The Dark World. In another miner bit of casting news Kat Dennings will also return as Darcy. That's ok I guess she wasn't exactly crucial but Dennings has that Broke Girls thing going for her.

Kurse was voiced by Ron Halder in the animated Marvel film Thor: Tales of Asgard.

Comic fans does he come to mind when you think of someone like Kurse?
