Why did no one ever tell me how awesome Joe Bonamassa is.

I have seen two comedies recently and reviewed both. One was funny, the other was not and it has got me thinking about what I am really looking for in a comedy. As someone who does not get easily offended I am open to just about any subject matter for a laugh and will gladly watch just about anything. That being said I have answered the question and decided on what I want is the following criteria.

First the film must be funny, and make me laugh, or at least smile. With a comedy you would think this is a given but I have seen so called comedies that make me laugh once and then become serious dramas and I start wondering why this film is supposed to be uplifting. I am looking at you Tiptoes. Like I said I will watch anything so make it funny and I will watch.

Second a compelling or exciting story, the most recent example of this I have seen would be The Other Guys. Yes it made me laugh but I was generally enjoying the story and plot as well. Without a decent plot I might as well watch a comedy sketch show or look at some old photos of friends doing stupid things.

The last two criteria are really personal choice, and I really do not want to upset any lady community members by sounding like a sexist pig, but I like to see hot ladies and if possible some boobs. Sorry, I am a bloke and this is what I like!

Obviously the last two points are not as important but ideally I like to have most of the above met in my comedies. So, screened community, what do you look for in a comedy film?
