Every Movie Seen Since December of 2010!

Of course I have seen movies before Dec, 2010, but this way I know the list is completely bonafide!

7. Fargo

5/5 - Director: Coen Brothers. The very culmination of astute directing/scriptwriting and brilliant acting -- Fargo is quite possibly one of the most refined and blemish-free films you're ever likely to see. With Steve Buscemi, Peter Stormare, Frances McDormand and William H. Macy on-board -- an extremely talented cast -- and the Coens in the directing seat, it really shouldn't be any surprise that Fargo is entertaining, macabre, acerbic and humorous in equal measure.

4/5 - Director: Ruben Fleischer.

10. The Truman Show

19. Mulholland Dr.

3/5 - Director: David Lynch.

20. Inception

5/5 - Director: Christopher Nolan. It's to Inception's credit that I could - and definitely would, watch the film for a fourth time and still enjoy it immensely. As Inception stands: it delivers a finely acted experience boasted by terrific set-pieces and supported by a thrilling Hans Zimmer score. Inception highlights the importance of original films - and the eagerness of the masses to watch something new, brand new. If I had to speak of any negatives, and I do so begrudgingly, I would point out that Ellen Page's Ariadne is simply there to be the audiences guide and upon re-watching her character basically becomes redundant%3B her character displays a stark difference in depth and interest when put alongside the other cast members. Another problem may be with the audience's perception of Inception's theme%3B Inception's gimmick. While it is interesting - it quite simply isn't The Matrix when it comes to scope or premise. The dream invading - and stealing, is a cool idea. An idea that does luckily manage to transport it's intruders from one location to another with minimal fuss or explanation. Like I said, it's cool, but most certainly not necessary to the film's enjoyment. Inception is a revolutionary action-blockbuster, and should stand to oppose the trash that Michael Bay has been releasing for too long.
