Join me while I dive head first into terrible reality tv and try to come out with a winner. In this, I will pit two reality shows against each other and one will come out victorious. But remember, no matter who wins, I lose.

Entertainment- Why watch it if it isn't entertaining?
The Real Deal - What's the point of a reality show that isn't... well... real. Just to be clear, a show doesn't have to be fake to feel fake.
Originality - Is it the first of its kind?
Execution - Lets face it, some reality shows have an interesting concept but don't execute it properly.
These two shows come from the cesspool of reality tv, also known as truTV. They are: Operation Repo and Hardcore Pawn.
Entertainment
Operation Repo - 3/5
What could be more entertaining then watching a group of people trying to repossess cars? Well, not much as far as reality tv goes. So, why does this only get a 3/5 you may be asking. A large portion of this show is the people driving around looking for a repo and trying to sound interesting, but they aren't interesting at all.
Hardcore Pawn - 2/5
This one is just not entertaining. It mostly is just regular people trying to make some money from selling their regular items. The only reason this gets a 2 and not a 1 is because some people are weird, and when those weird people try to sell weird stuff it is semi-entertaining. In one episode a lady tries to sell her panties to the shop... WTF.
The Real Deal
Operation Repo - 0/5
From head to toe, nothing about this show looks or feels real. With scenes like this
it is pretty obvious that this show is a fake. You should really watch that clip, it is the best part of the entire show.
Hardcore Pawn - 2/5
A lot about this show feels scripted, but at least it is based in a real store (i think). From the family drama that feels completely fake to people like this guy it just seems so scripted.
I'm sorry if you watched that. After watching that again I seriously hope that guy is not for real.
Originality
Operation Repo - 2/5
While watching this show, I feel like I'm watching a knock off of cops. Crazy people doing crazy things that get them into trouble. However there are not as many shirtless men so I can't, in good faith, call it a complete knock off of cops.
Hardcore Pawn - 1/5
It's a knock off of Pawn Stars plain and simple. However pawn stars maintains a level of class that this show does not.
Execution
Operation Repo - 2/5
If it was just the repos happening, it would get a much higher execution rating. Unfortunately they have to sully the show by attempting to give some character to these people.
Hardcore Pawn - 5/5
This show is advertised as a regular old pawn shop just trying to get by and boy does it deliver. Whether it is any good or not is a different story.

Hardcore Pawn wins this round, 10 to 7. Now excuse me, I have to go take a very long shower.
