So this weekend one of the biggest movies in the past few years is going to be released, I speak of course of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I kid (although that movie still looks good), I'm of course speaking of The Avengers, a movie so big I'm not even going to link to the page because I'm sure you've all been to it a dozen times already.
I've been thinking of ways that we here on Screened can get ready for the big release, sort of something to get the whole community involved, or "assembled" if you will. So I thought to myself, "Hey, aren't you a big movie nut?" "Yes, yes I am." "But you're also a big comic book geek right?" "The smell of old inked paper and longboxes in my apartment would agree with that, yes." "And you love the Avengers right?" "Of course I do, I'm a huge fan. Why don't you go ahead and tell me what you're getting at voice in my head?"
So what I've decided to do, to try and get the Screened community active, is I'm going to open up this blog for anyone out there who is excited about the movie or just plain curious about the franchise, to ask any question you may have about the Avengers. Whether it be about the movie itself or the comic, questions about what is already out there or hypothetical questions of things to come, anything you want (however if you got to see an early screening of the movie try not to spoil it in your question).
And then, and this is the most important part, I'm going to take all the questions asked, and I'm going to try and create either a video recording or an audio recording answering the questions. Screened is finally back on the right track (everyone head over to litrock's page and give him a virtual fistbump for his great reviews) but I still miss the videos and I really want to see them make a return in one shape or another, so if that means we Screened Pups have to start making them ourselves then so be it. So I can't promise anything nice or professional, I don't have nearly the equipment that Rorie had, seriously I would shoot this basically with a cardboard box that I wrote "camera" on with crayons and a backwards R. But hey, I still think it would be cool to try.
So submit your questions now and check back in a few days.
