Inception » Audience reaction?

@Milkman: I had the same experience.

There was the one dude in the audience, I recognise him from school or something. He would just laugh so annoyingly at the van falling scene, the gravity fuck-up fights, and really anything in the film.

What a jerk.

Also, at the end of the film, the audience did a sound which I can only describe as "Oh okay, fuck you then. But good film."

Inception » The "totems"

I would personally put weights in one of my shoes. That way, I would certainly be able to tell at all times where I was.

Screencast » What do you do while listening to the podcast?

Last podcast, I listened to it during a 25 mile walk. It was nice.

DVD » Your First DVD

Adam Sandler in 'Anger Management' was my first DVD. I hated it. I think I only bought it because I wanted to see what DVDs actually looked like, as I'd just received a PS2 as a gift. I despise that film now, and I've grown to hate everything about Sandler's films.

General Discussion » Do trailers give too much away?

I think trailers need to find a good balance. You need to show something to pique the interest of audiences of course, but you do need to hold some stuff back. For example, there's a scene in the 2009 Sherlock Holmes which I felt was spoilt by the trailer, but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the film as a whole. Some films do just completely screen the entire film though.

The best trailer I have seen is for the 2010 release called 'Big Money Rustlas', featuring the Insane Clown Posse. Shit is so cash.
