I love animation. At one point in my life I wanted to be an animator and entered college to study the craft. Sadly, I didn't have the patience for art school (and other art students) so I moved on to other fields. My love of the art form has never wavered though, so here are my favorites.

As always, these lists are a work in progress. The films listed and/or their valued position may change over time. Additionally, I tend to list movies in order of rewatchability and not in order of pure quality. That's why some films like Grave of the Fireflies are not on this list.

	1. WALL-E Among my most favored movies in any genre.
	2. The Incredibles A great fun ride.
	3. The Little Mermaid Great songs. This one kicked off the Disney animation reboot.
	4. Aladdin Good songs, likable characters, wild adventure.
	5. Kiki's Delivery Service Amazing movie in its simplicity.
	6. Princess Mononoke Grand and epic story.
	7. Akira The first big anime movie.
	8. Spirited Away Great story filled with wonder.
	9. Pinocchio Amazing animation, good songs.
	10. Toy Story 2 Better than the first in my opinion.
	11. South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut Hilarious and shocking. Biggest surprise? It's a musical!
	12. Waking Life Deep movie. Great conversations in this one.
	13. Fantasia Awesome animation.
	14. My Neighbor Totoro Sweet touching story.
	15. The Rescuers I just like a whole lot.
	16. The Thief and the Cobbler Quirky movie that's interesting.
	17. Lady and the Tramp Great characters with a strong soundtrack.
	18. The Lord of the Rings Another epic adventure. Uneven but still mesmerizing.
	19. Who Framed Roger Rabbit Best of all animated worlds rolled into one.
	20. Yellow Submarine The beatles...well, there songs at least.
	21. Allegro non troppo Off-center version of Fantasia.
	22. Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem Daft Punk!
	23. Mulan Funny stuff with good songs.
	24. Tangled A full blown Disney musical done in CG format. Good songs and classic Disney storytelling.
	25. Coraline Surprisingly good story with strong characters.
	26. Fantastic Mr. Fox Whimsical, charming, full of familial love.
	27. How to Train Your Dragon Saw this one recently and really enjoyed the mix of action and comedy.
	28. Kung Fu Panda Funny stuff.
	29. A Boy Named Charlie Brown Charlie Brown and Snoopy!
	30. Rugrats in Paris: The Movie Good songs and a bigger better adventure than the previous or follow-up one.
