No more Rorie/Alex podcasts sucks. Man, this is shitty. Is Alex now not allowed to contribute to Screened because of a new contract with CBSi or something? If that's not the case, I honestly have no idea why he'd do a big formal "I'm leaving and never coming back, but I might still write about movies on other sites" post. This is weird.

@ryanwho: Yeah, I was more referring to acting human. I inferred that "completely indistinguishable" means the ability to speak and interact verbally without seeming nonhuman. That's probably more like 50-100 years off, if that.

If this is at all indicative of the message of the final film, then consider me excited. I love futurist sci-fi like this. But one nitpick: he says "...we can create cybernetic individuals, who in just a few short years will be completely indistinguishable from us." So, 2026ish? 14 years from now. I'm sorry, Rorie, but you really need to work on your hosting. At least try to have some semblance of professionalism. The consistent excuses of lack of sleep and hangovers don't work when you use them nearly every podcast. If these are such major problems on Mondays, it's completely baffling to me that the podcast continues to be on Monday. Man, I'm starting to get seriously disenchanted with this podcast, ...

Somehow I think recording the podcast on a different day would help avoid things like Rorie being tired, and complaining that he's tired, and the 'cast being rushed by the looming authority of the almighty Bombcast.
