30 Rock send-off?
Goddamn if Awake doesn't sound like the most interesting show to come along in a while.
1. Awake
NBC 10 PM: "In one world Michael tries to reconnect with his son, while in the other he tries to understand his wife's grief; a clue in a case in one life crosses over to a case in the other, confusing Bird." Bets as to how this show ends? He's an alien? He's dead too? He's been in a coma the entire time? |
2. Archer
FX 10 PM: "Archer is faced with a dilemma when his murdered fiancée miraculously reappears." The dilemma presumably being whether to sleep with her immediately or wait a few minutes. Followed by Unsupervised at 10:30. |
3. The Big Bang Theory
CBS 8 PM: "Sheldon plans a video game marathon with the guys instead of attending a birthday party for Amy's aunt." Well, sure. That sounds like something practically anyone would and should do. Way to go, Sheldon. |
4. 30 Rock
NBC 8 PM: "Jenna constructs a surprising plan to get publicity; Jack ends up parenting his teenage nemesis, Kaylie Hooper (Chloe Grace Moretz); Liz rejects Kenneth's new authority over TGS." Nice little guest star there. I mean little, literally, CGM can't be more than like two feet tall, max. Followed by new episodes of Parks and Rec, The Office, and Up All Night. |
5. Person of Interest
CBS 9 PM: "Reese and Finch are puzzled when the machine names a 6-month-old baby as the latest person of interest; Detective Carter questions her allegiances when Elias resurfaces." That six-month-old baby? Totally a terrorist. Followed by The Mentalist at 10. |
6. The Finder
FOX 9 PM: "While a hurricane rages in Southern Florida, Walter helps Isabel find a missing high school girl from Ends of the Earth; the weather forces Willa's probation officer to hole up at the bar." Well, if she already came from Ends of the Earth, presumably she'll be easier to find pretty much anywhere else. |
I really hope that Awake does well enough to not get canned within the first month.
