Watch out for Jon Bernthal (Shane from The Walking Dead) breaking out this year in Frank Darabont's L.A. Noir, supporting The Rock in Snitch, and another supporting role in Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street. He's my cousin, and I will promote him to death! Also, I'm looking forward to Star Trek: Into Darkness and World War Z very much!

After I saw Cumberbatch in Sherlock he became one of those guys like Fassbender that immediately got put on the top of my list. This looks great too, I'm glad they got him involved.

I agree with the choices on this list. Another current series I highly recommend is ABC's Once Upon a Time. The plot of the show is a direct allegory for modern culture, and the way the writers intertwine the elements of the fairytale stories is brilliant. I personally enjoy Claire Danes's acting in Homeland very much, although I can see why others may not. I think her and Damian Lewis ...

Stalker is a masterpiece. I'm sure a lot of people would find it too abstract or dry for their taste, but for those who really appreciate the art of filmmaking, it's charm and emotional impact is unparalleled.

Excellent review, as always! I loved In Bruges, and can't wait to see this film, as well. You summed up McDonagh's writing very well, brutal, but charming, and definitely honest. Harrelson and Rockwell are two of my favorites, so I'm excited to see them with some great material to chew on.

Great review. I definitely was not expecting this movie to be this good when I saw the trailer earlier in the year. Pleasantly surprised to hear it's not the gimmicky action flick it was advertised to be.

I'm pumped for Cloud Atlas, so it's great to hear it's epic like I was expecting. And also glad to hear Silver-Linings was good, I like Bradley Cooper and want to see him break-out more (check out the episode of Inside the Actor's Studio where he's the guest, it's very endearing), and Jennifer Lawrence, I was sold on her after Hunger Games, really cute and talented actress.

Excellent review! I'm a follower of James Berardinelli's reviews as well, and to see this huge discrepancy in scores makes it obvious that this is a very "it comes down to personal taste" type of film. I don't know what others didn't like about In Bruges, but personally I think it's great and Colin Farrell's really only good film. As for Seven Psychopaths, I'm definitely on board, I love the cooky humor and anything with Woody and Sam Rockwell is something that I will watch.
