This list (in no particular order) represents my favorite TV shows that I have had the chance to enjoy in my 20 years of life so far.
1. MythBusters
One of my most beloved shows. Watched all but 4 episodes since the series began on Discovery Channel. If you don't find Adam Savage to be even remotely funny, you've got some serious issues. |
2. How I Met Your Mother
A blast to watch. Never get tired of Barney Stinson and his endless pursuit of women to sleep with. |
3. The Simpsons
Followed fatefully until 2005, been watching it off and on every now and then just in case it ever returns to greatness. |
4. Family Guy
Used to hate this show, but for some reason it has grown on me since it began airing again on FOX when it was brought back. |
5. South Park
Fatefully watched from 2001 to 2004, watching select episodes every now and then when the episode premise seems to be interesting. |
6. Two and a Half Men
Watched fatefully until 2008. Watched the last few episodes that Charlie Sheen was in and then tuned in for the 1st three episodes of the Aston Kutcher era. Just not the same without Charlie Harper... :( |
7. Ghost Hunters
Sometimes this series really has a awesome episode in which the location they go to has lots of strange, freakish activity going bump in the night. Quite enjoyable to watch. |
8. Cops
Never gets old watching the law and it's enforcers crack down on the idiots who dare to break the law. |
9. Arrested Development
The holy grail of comedies that sadly was canceled, I am so thrilled to hear that it will be brought back by 2013! |
10. Heroes
The first three seasons were epic, but it got so complex and strange when season 4 started that I dropped it. A great show from NBC that I will never forget (at least not the three seasons I enjoyed). |
11. X-Play
Watch it from time to time. |
12. Pushing Daisies
Odd show, neat idea. Was enjoyable to watch. |

Still fun to watch, even with House now in the slammer (as seen in Season 8 premiere). |
14. Better Off Ted
(paste what I wrote for Pushing Daises here) |
15. Community
(paste what I put about Mythbusters [the one of my most beloved show] part here) |
16. Fringe
First two seasons were amazing. Stopped watching after the episode in which Olivia finds herself standing in the World Trade Center in the alternate dimension. |
17. 30 Rock
(paste what I put about HIMYM [the "a blast to watch" part] here) |
18. Smallville
Watched off and on at various times. Seemed interesting and I found it enjoyable. |
19. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Used to hate it, but it grew on me. Watched fatefully for the past two years. |
20. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Was quite enjoyable to watch. Watched until the guy who played Morphius in The Matrix Trilogy left the show. |
21. CSI: NY
Same show, new setting. Still fun to watch. |
22. CSI: Miami
Watch it from time to time. When I do, it is quite enjoyable. |
23. American Dad!
Watch from time to time. Somewhat annoying at times, but still good. |
24. Archer
A blast to watch, if you are into shows of it's mature nature. |
25. Modern Family
Mostly annoying, but still quite funny when I do watch. The misunderstandings and random moments are the best. |
26. Married with Children
A classic that never dies (as evident in the reruns that air six days a week on our AntennaTV channel). Ed O'neal at his best (in terms of being the ultimate idiot) xD |
27. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
A great, captivating anime that recently wrapped up it's run on Cartoon Network. |
28. Dexter
So bloody good, it is almost criminal (see what I did there?)xD |
29. Curb Your Enthusiasm
Been watching the re-runs airing at 1:30 AM on our CBS affiliate from time to time. Seems enjoyable and the humor (although dry) is great. |
30. Game of Thrones
One fantasy show to rule them all...bow down to your new king. |
31. The Walking Dead
One zombie show to rule them all...bow down to your undead master. |
32. Jericho
Neat idea, enjoyable series, but eventually lost interest. |
33. Man vs. Wild
Never gets old watching Bear go out to various places and show the audience just how not to let yourself die out there. |
34. 20/20
Has neat stories and features from time to time. |
35. Cowboy Bebop
Another timeless, classic anime as seen on Cartoon Network. |
36. Breaking Bad
Who knew that the man who played Hal from Malcolm in the Middle could be so...awesome? |
37. Malcolm in the Middle
So random, so odd, so funny to watch. Watched almost every episode that aired on FOX. |
38. Sons of Anarchy
A truly enjoyable show. Can be annoying at times (certain characters or spots in episodes), but quite enjoyable to watch. |
39. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
A true gem of a show. Danny DeVito and friends make this show nothing short of awesome. |
40. American Chopper: The Series
Used to watch for all of the Sr./Jr. dust-ups and the numerous Mikey screw ups. Lost interest in it after watching off and on for roughly 3 years. |
41. Most Extreme Elimination Challenge
Used to watch for all of the dumb things that these contestants were willing to do, since it was quite funny. Now that I look back at it, it was quite enjoyable to watch if you got used to it. |
42. Rescue Me
Sometimes frustrating to watch, but still enjoyable. |
43. The Big Bang Theory
Oh how I love to watch you. From the oddball that is Sheldon to all of the quirky characters involved, a blast to watch. |
44. Family Guy: Blue Harvest
Technically a TV "movie", but still Family Guy to me (love their spoofs on Star Wars). |
45. 24
Followed Seasons 3 thru 5 faithfully, gave up on it after 1/3 of the following season. Was interesting and fun to watch. |
46. The Doctor
Hmm...no page for Dr. Who, but since it is close enough, I will add this. A great series. |
47. Kitchen Nightmares
Fun to watch Ramsey suffer meltdowns and later help save the restaurant. |
48. Chopped
Watching chefs crack under the pressure of turning out high-class dishes from random items in 20 minutes. All of that with $10,000 hanging over your head. |
49. Dinner: Impossible
Fun to watch from time to time xD |
50. Mad Men
The Playboy Club tried to cash in with a cheap knock-off, but the king still reigns (even with Pam Am doing decently). |
