The first movie is actually a guilty pleasure for me. It was obviously stupid but still entertaining, and this looks the same.

You should check out the videos tab on the site. There's some great stuff to watch... but make sure you stay through the credits.

@CashBailey said:Interesting take. But there is no such thing as different perceptions when it comes to THE LAST AIRBENDER. That movie was utter garbage and everyone knows it. Even Shyamalan himself, I'll bet.Agreed. For somebody who professes to love the source material, as Shyamalan does, he seemed to lack any understanding of what actually made the show great.

I'd watch this only if it had Nazi Zombies with rayguns vs. Juggernauts. Shot at 60fps.

Like many here, I'm surprised by how many people like this movie. I agree that the supporting cast (minus the Beef) is pretty awesome here. I always felt like Keanu Reeves was "too pretty" for this role. It demands a gruffer, more worn looking person to me. I must also admit to never having read the comics, so I don't know how the character is portrayed there. Rachel Weisz pulls ...

Ridley Scott is directing the Blade Runner sequel! This pleases me greatly. I don't think it needs a sequel but this guarantees my interest. I can't say I really have any complaints about one of my very favorite directors returning to one of the g

Got "Eyes Without a Face" in the mail. I hear it is one of the most interesting horror movies ever made from a couple sources. I'm looking forward to watching it, with my eyes, though these eyes are still surrounded by face.

@Rorie: I always wondered why there were so few pictures of him despite his large impact in certain corners of the film community, but never investigated. Interesting.

I really like this movie, a great choice for your write-up! I love the art style of the world and the character of Riddick is really entertaining. I'm looking forward to the upcoming sequel, the concept art I've seen for it makes me think they are combining the awesome aesthetics of The Chronicles of Riddick with the more claustrophobic horror vibe of Pitch Black (which is great but I find ...

If The Power of the Dark Crystal actually comes out in 2012 as scheduled, it will be released 30 years after the original Dark Crystal (1982). I'd like to see a sequel, but I was a lot more interested when Genndy Tartakovsky was attached as director. I find sequels released after a long period of time to be pretty fascinating, both in the storytelling and the financial/artistic motivations for making ...

Yes, there is an official Drive Scorpion Jacket for $159.99. You too can rock the satin. Seems like it'd be difficult to keep clean though...

Just watched "Troll Hunter." It was pretty much as advertised. The special effects were actually pretty impressive and though it wasn't scary, the light doses of mythology were entertaining.

An excellent defense, however the only defense that a movie featuring Jennifer Connelly needs to me is this: It has Jennifer Connelly in it. She is easily my favorite living actress.

My second favorite Anderson movie (behind surprisingly enough, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, which I was hesitant about). I love Rushmore, the whole atmosphere and feel of it is charming and fantastic. I'm always surprised by how many people haven't seen this movie when I bring it up, it's so fantastic!

This movie never gets old. I feel like every line and every scene is there for an awesome reason, no filler.
