Don't worry Showgirls, I'll always remember and recognize your place in history as having what is likely the most unsexy (and therefore hysterical) sex scene of all time.

So I saw it today (in IMAX 3D) and I have to say I was very pleased. It really seems (from comments on this site & this review itself) that people are going to fall on one of two sides: either you hate that the film raises all these questions and then almost insultingly ignores the answers or you'll love that questions are raised and the audience is intentionally left ...

I just bought some IMAX 3D tickets for this yesterday. Most early talk seem to be in the 3/5 range but I'm still holding out that I may see things differently. My excitement for it is still relatively high.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman? Sold.

This was one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. In fact, if I was not watching it with someone, it would have been the first movie I have ever walked out of. Just nothing redeeming about it at all and so many attempts to make an event create tension only to leave me looking around the theater wondering what the hell i was doing there.Best and only ...

I feel the same way about both shows. Family guy is the most brainless show these days. Somehow it has gotten even lazier to the point that ALL jokes are just call backs to various shows and movies that no longer even have a slight bit of connection. You want to have Quagmire and Cleveland repair their friendship by recreating the end scene of Rocky III? Great. You want to ...

This is surprising although it's impact is diluted to me simply as I am so far from my days of watching CSI & CSI: Miami with my mother. But I'm sure my grandpa will be a bit disappointed. I will say this: though the world probably doesn't need another CSI, if they would like to start work on a CSI: Chicago, I would be willing to come back and give ...

I really have no idea where all this excitement for How I Met Your Mother comes from. It just seemed like a pretty bland show from the few times I've see it, yet friends have been oddly revealing how much they love this show. Beats me. Sign me up for that HBO documentary though. HBO is always reliable for a well made doc.

41. El Topo/el-topo/16-179371/Man with no legs riding a man with no arms. That description alone was enough to get me to watch it.

Remember what it was like to be new here? Did an older member of the community reach out to welcome you? Pay that favor forward and send a 'helping' PM to a new user to 'welcome' them to the site.

@Ghost_of_GhostDad: I just got back from seeing a pretty full 11am show and actually had a hand full of people clap. For Iron Man. During his first battle. IN THE FIRST TWENTY MIN OF THE MOVIE. Lots of moments reminded me of why I hate to see certain films with big crowds. So many facepalms.

I just voiced my current grievances of/in the current review but in regards to what can be done to improve this site, I put it all on you. I know a lot of people are saying hire ______ or involve the community more, and I agree with them to an extent, but I am not going to advocate for the hiring of members. I am going to say that there ...

I mean come on. I am as much for keeping a positive view on the criticism as the next man but this review reeks of someone who was just told "Hey, cut down on A, B, & C for the next review you do for us." Hence we get bold words to replace the links, a fill in subheading to replace the "watch it at home" crap from last time ...

Serious request here: will ANYBODY currently connected to the working of this site explain what the hell this piece of crap is?

So I just read this after hearing some hype about the movie and all I can say is "wow".Why the hell did I have to go through the comments to find out what "Watch it at home" meant? At least make some effort to not make this look like a shit copy/paste job."For an entertainment conceived and structured with enormous sophistication, the scares in Cabin are surprisingly low-grade, nearly all ...

@DonChipotle: You respect people's views who like these movies but not people's views who don't? That makes no sense. You can't have one without the other. Not everybody is in the middle road like you.

Bob's Burgers is a very funny show. I'm glad it got picked up for this 2nd season. I'll be picking that up and maybe Shame although Shame always seemed like something that I would like but never have the urge to watch many times. Or give to many people that I know to watch. Maybe it is just the reason I need finally give RedBox a try.

Best - Oldboy. Those last 15min or so always leaves me wanting to find someone and just yell "Holy shit!" at them. No matter how many times I see it.Worst - Mystic River. I said it in another forum but I would be hard pressed to think of a more egregious example of someone just phoning in the of his movie. I mean seriously, you just found out that your ...
