I grew up loving movies, especially westerns with John Wayne. I'm a believer in Jesus Christ, an avid sports fan. Favorite films include Gladiator, Casablanca, The Lord of the Rings, and The Princess Bride.

How I Rate Movies

.5 Star - This movie was terrible. In fact, it's so bad I actually enjoyed watching simply to ridicule it. I strongly urge the director/writer/actors/producers etc. to find a new line of work.

1 Star- It carried potential for a few brief moments, but it slipped away, quickly. I liken this movie to perform much like the Bills in the Super Bowl, lots of promise, but in the end, heartbreak. It is highly likely I fell asleep during this film.

2 Stars - It did some things right, but ultimately it failed to execute on most levels.

3 Stars - There were some parts of the film I liked, and it was compelling enough to keep me interested. But overall, it has too many shortcomings to make it very memorable. Maybe worth renting. This is the kind of film you find in the $1 box at Wal-Mart.

4 Stars - Has a purpose that it strives to meet. Does many things right, and is heading in the right direction as far as doing what it aims to do as a film, but fails to achieve and execute on some levels that keep it from greatness.

4.5 Stars - Knows what it is attempting to do, and achieves it with success. The film is a great movie experience. But just isn't quite perfect enough to be considered legendary. The reason it has 4.5 stars is that it's a great movie, just not as great as the Classics of Film.

5 Stars - Incredible, what more can be said? A film that joins the elite group that will forever be remembered, a must see film experience. I rarely give 5's away.
