1. The Dark Knight Rises
There's a storm coming, Mr. Wayne...are you ready? |
|
|
2. The Odd Life of Timothy Green
Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton can't have a baby, but don't fear, they can grow one in their garden. It's time for the holidays when we all get sappy and in in the mood for some sticky fun. I might suggest actually watching a good movie for that, but at least this one is original. |

3. Hope Springs
I'm starting to make the list of movies I will watch with my mom over the holidays, and this will be on it. Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones are a couple who attend intense counseling to help save their relationship. In the vein of It's Complicated and As Good As it Gets, this could be an unexpected charmer to be enjoyed by all. |

4. Beasts of the Southern Wild
This film took the independent market by storm this year and has been called by some, one of the best movies of the year. The film follows the story of a young girl whose wild imagination becomes helps her deal with some real world extremely hard problems. |

|
5. The Dark Knight
With the release of the final film in the franchise also comes the Blu-ray release of the The Dark Knight trilogy. If you haven't watched them all together yet, I highly recommend spending some time with one of best and well executed comic book series to date. |
|
|
6. Finding Nemo
If you are one of the lucky few to own a pair of those nifty 3-D glasses then you can enjoy the re-release of Finding Nemo in more than two dimensions. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. |

7. Eastbound & Down
What could be more ridiculous than Kenny Powers as a baseball player? Kenny Powers as a daddy. Will Ferrell also guest stars as one of the most outrageous characters to grace a television screen and that is compared to Kenny Powers. Get your laughing shoes on. |
