I sure hope so. I've worked on stereo conversions, and filmed stereo VFX. Both are brutal. With conversions everything has to be matchmoved, modeled, and animated, then figure out the convergence to be converted into stereo (Alice in wonderland 3d). The other needs to have everything done twice. CGI rendered twice, comp twice...etc double the work as normal film but same time constraints.
