@gangly: I completely agree with all of your statement and when I saw Avatar in 3D I was still swept into that world, perhaps more because of all the 3D visuals in that film 3D really added to it.I feel that 3D gets a lot of unnecessary hate and even though it may often be the case I think too many people use the "it gives me headaches" to dismiss ...

Damn that's a lot of money though I personally don't think it'll be a huge scandal if it comes out they tried to avoid payment, cause if I was an evil supercompany I'd try to settle/pay the least amount of money

Gears of War 3 for some multiplayer action (execution is still the best)Uncharted 3 as I'm trekking through the campaign and Portal 2 but I'm taking it a couple puzzles a day (don't want this game to end)And hopefully I'll be able to buy Ninja Gaiden 2 this week for some ninja action

From the trailers I feel like this movie is gonna be funny up until they get to the part where he gets his beard cut, then its gonna be a down hill ride from there

Expedition Impossible: it was surprisingly good and I liked the more focus on the nature aspectFamily Feud: ClassicAmazing Race: Still a fun show to watch for an episode here and thereSurvivor: Only catch the occasional episode even though its gone way down in quality and will still watch the occasional episode cause I loved this show way back when

The problem I had with Live free or Die Hard, and also the third one, was that they both took away the confinement of space. Like how the first one had the building, this ruined a lot of the tension and stalking nature that I loved about the first two and how there was a constant fight and each kill was its own special battle. In the fourth I didn't ...

@litrock: And i didn't like it I would have been preferred if they had went for Aliens 2

Oddly enough Alien: Resurrection was the first Alien movie I saw I was really into the film for the first half (the mentioned underwater scene and then ladder climb were some great moments) but even brand new to the series I thought all of the "humanish" alien was incredibly stupid and having the film end on a dour note was enough to make me think the film was at best ...

HIMYM is all I need from CBS, Vegas sounds interesting but I know I won't watch it, and the occasional Amazing Race/ Survivor. I will say that I also loved Human Target at least for the first season I feel like both characters added in the second season really threw off the group dynamic they had flowing for them

Not really feeling any of these shows I'll probably just stick with Modern Family

This seems like a really good fit cause I do get a huge Social Network vibe from this

I get what you're saying about being the lesser half of a masterpiece not being a bad thing but I left Full Metal Jacket with a worse taste than I would have if it ended after the training. It's not a good thing when you're movie peaks 40 minutes in and continues to slid down for the past hour and 20 minutes. This leaves the viewer, or at least me, ...

I also really like American Dad. While it can still have its off episodes (two weeks ago when they had the African child and they spent a solid minute saying his name I was tempeted to turn it off) it has been alot more consistenly funny. I still remember how funny the flood episode was and I think its great that a show like this can have either Roger or ...

New Girl seems like a pretty good comedy so maybe I'll start watching that and Following also seems like it'll be good. Besides those there isn't too much else for me; Fringe should have sticked to a mystery of the week with only like three episode arcs I jumped out after the new demensions came in, Touch seemed too genricy for me, I'll probably still catch the American dad episodes ...

@FinalDasa: Yeah I got that its just I wanted more I guess and there were some really good emotional scenes (Black kids death/funeral and some of the father scenes) it just wasn't enough for me. For the camera I thought it got a little ridiculous how his first camera looked like it weighed 50 lbs and he was just carrying it around in school and then how they incoperated cameras ...

@ashogo: maybe it was that none of the previous emotional stuff connected with me was why I didn't like that fight

@FinalDasa said:I did see Chronicle and it was surprisingly good. It's a great combination of found footage and kids getting super powers. It's what X-Men would be like if it happened. That's what I was hoping going into the film but I personally didn't feel that it lived up to it. I thought that it should have explored the fact that one of them was more powerful than the other and ...

I'll pick up The Grey on blu-ray as that seems like a great film to have to watch alone. I personally believe that seeing it in theater hurt the film in my opinion, the action-oriented mind set of both me and the audience didn't let myself really soak in the slow pacing of this film with the booing when the credits roll or the cheers when the wolves attacked. I'm ...
