Headsplosions (Or films that feature great decapitation)

Wish there was a way to include pictures in the description.

	1. Scanners Obviously. A bag stuffed with rabbit guts being shot from behind with a shotgun, makes for a pretty convincing headsplosion.
	2. Dawn of the Dead It's only shown for a second, but one of the more gruesome headsplosions.
	3. Maniac By far the most realistic headsplosion in any film ever. Tom Savini used his SFX magic, and 'Nam experience, to blow his own character's head off.
	4. Friday the 13th Classic. One of the first decapitations I ever saw.
	5. Friday the 13th: A New Beginning I cheered when that annoying hillbilly lost his head.
	6. Burial Ground I was laughing through the whole scene, but still a pretty terrifying beheading.
	7. Resident Evil Watch out for the lase-urgh
	8. Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI So many F13s on here. This is probably my favorite though, since Jason scores a triple head-slice.
	9. The Thing Noris' head voluntarily detaches itself from his body and becomes Spider Head. Classic.
	10. Akira Tetsuo knocks a guys head off as he rides past him. Later he blows up some heads with his psychic powers.
	11. Jason X Some may argue this doesn't count as a FULL decapitation, but the girl gets most of her head smashed after having it dipped in liquid nitrogen. Too good to be kept off the list.
	12. The Return of the Living Dead Having trouble remembering this one, but don't they cut a zombies head off and then it bites someone?
	13. Four Flies on Grey Velvet Ending of this movie features a great decapitation, don't wanna spoil it though.
	14. The Beyond Little girl gets most of her head blown off. I love Fulci.

Great list i love headsplosions and decapitations.

Also for return of the living dead I think its part 2 that they decapitate a corpse, then they keep the head in a bag until it inevitably bites someone.

Return of the Living Dead has a zombie get his head knocked off with a baseball bat. Fantastic stuff.

Ha, I don't know what I would have done if you didn't include Scanners, but I was foolish to doubt for a second that it would make it on the list. It pretty much set the standard for headsplosions.
