General Discussion » Favorite All-Time Wrestling Fued

One of my favorite feuds from when I was a kid (I got into Wrestling during the Attitude era, so a lot of the "classics" are beyond me) was the Hardy Boyz versus Christian and Edge. Man, those guys put on some of the most amazing tag matches ever! So many leaps through flaming tables from on top of Steel cages...

Can't think of too many recent examples of good feuds. I feel like they're not bad - I actually think they're building the Cena/Rock 'Mania match better than they have any right to be -, but not amazing. Okay, some are terrible - anything involving Santino, for example. But most are solid. It just sucks that they have the Miz doing nothing currently, and CM Punk/Chris Jericho in a really, really dumb feud. I can't even remember who Daniel Bryan is feuding with currently; I thought it was Big Show, but then I noticed it wasn't. That's just how a lot of them seem to end up; fizzling out. Or messily moving onto new feuds.

Haven't seen Ring of Honor in awhile. And I refuse to watch TNA because it's stupid, and they don't pay for a lot of medical bills (like Daffney's, or any of the Knockouts. Who are one of the only bright spots in that organization). So I don't know what they're doing. But I'm pretty confident in saying that they have no good feuds, because nothing matters there. The top dog this weekend will lose like a jobber in a squash match two weeks from now. I'm pretty sure though, that around 2008, AJ Styles, Kaz, Kurt Angle, Christian (Cage) and Samoa Joe had some awesome feuds in TNA.

General Discussion » TED talks now on Netflix

I just heard about TED-Ed, where they partner teachers with animators to make animated shorts based on lessons they do.

Link: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/shorts/ted-launches-animated-ted-ed-channel.html

It's really cool, and a great idea. I hope all that independent animation ends up on Netflix too.

Brave » New trailer actually shows off the story! And is Japanese

Found this on Cartoon Brew: A trailer for ,"Merida and the Forest of Fear". A.k.a. Disney-Pixar's "Brave"

From the exposition, to the fantastic music, to the cool name, to effectively showing off the varied tones of the film (the dark, mysterious parts as well as the adventuresome ones) - EVERYTHING about this trailer destroys the official English-language versions released so far. What with their focus on stupid kilt jokes and whatnot. I mean seriously - you would think that the presence of a Witch in this film would be important enough to show off in one of the three trailers they've released so far, but noooooo. Even Screened's database's story synopsis says the film is about Merida wanting to become a great archer. Disney's advertising teams are really trying to "John Carter" all their movies these days, huh?

Time to get excited for "Brave"...

General Discussion » The Bert Fershners: worst comedy troupe ever?

These guys are more talented, and less anger-inducing, than those dumbasses Tim & Eric.
