1. Dawn of the Dead
The original Dawn of the Dead sets up to be more of a fun movie than a serious and actual 'survival' movie. I couldn't say it more.. the starting especially with the police raiding an apartment filled with Hippies and eventually zombies was campy and less serious. After the zombie outbreak gets out of control, the four survivors find themselves in a mall with one thing to do to have a shopping spree. Which is one of my favourite scenes in this movie because they're using the mall as their advantage by having a entire scene, stealing stuff. It's what lacks in the remake. Other than that, when the biker gang discovers their hideout and begin trashing the mall is also a funny scene, especially with the Mexican with the Sombrero trying to see his blood pressure and the pie-throwing bit. In short, this movie is really campy with its seriousness.. |

2. Shaun of the Dead
Pretty much what I said is the reason why this is one of my favourite horror/zombie comedy/parody. And pretty much what Rorie said in his feature.. Oh, the bit when they're pretending to be zombies and the scene where Shaun and Ed leaves the bar and sees a girl 'kissing' a guy and the zombie moan was hilarious. |

7. Scary Movie 2
Despite this whole series to be a pile of shit by two unfunny writers, I did remember laughing at this one especially. The bits with Professor Oldman are the parts I laughed the most while the rest of the movie isn't trying too hard, especially the Charlie Angels bit. That's the only part I remember, well.. the bit where Marlon wears a dress and the Exorcist bit at the end when Marlon's character gets the Exorcist girl to suck his dick.. I tried not remember this series due to how horrible it is... but this one is alright |
