Not being in the US, I have no idea who this guy is. I heard about his death earlier though, so clicked on this link to find out more about him. I know the quality of this site has been pretty shaky lately, but I was willing to chalk that up to the staff just trying to find their groove, it obviously wasn't going to happen over night. Now I ...

It's such a shame to see the Whiskey Media family become so fractured, it was a really great thing while it lasted. Screened won't be the same again now. I'll miss the puppies.

I don't mind the name change, but why change them from mutants to aliens. Is that somehow more realistic? It seems like such a pointless change that's just going to cause anger. Then again, it's a Michael Bay film, so it's going to be awful either way.

Heroes, for constantly promising epic events and repeatedly failing to deliver on anything. I gave up part way into season 2.And Star Trek Enterprise, for reasons that don't need an explanation.

I would have enjoyed seeing a new Ghostbusters movie, it worked for Rocky, and if the original cast were only really there to pass on the torch to the new guys, it could have worked even without Murray. Then again, it could have been a complete disaster, so I'm not particularly upset by this news.

@Hadoken101: I don't know, Transformers was pretty darn dire.

I'm much more interested in the movie after seeing this. Still, I think they could have done without the origin story, the original movie isn't so old that people have forgotten it. Simply picking up with him in highschool, already as Spider-man would have worked fine.At most, there could have been a Hulk-esque explanation in the title credits.

Duder, you'll totally see one of these at the end of a video.

This same complaint is thrown at the Giant Bomb community a lot, but I think people tend to visit the Whiskey Media sites because their opinions line up with those of the staff, not because they just like whatever they're told is good.

@ryanwho: Nobody said Star Trek has to be completely, 100% serious. Trek has always been somewhat cheesy and fun at times, and that's fine. But it's also had good stories and strong messages to go along with that, like what we had here. The movie you're referring to with God, the cat girl and the Uhura fan dance was Star Trek V, and we won't speak of it again. It's the ...

The Undiscovered Country is still my favourite Star Trek film, narrowly beating out the Wrath of Khan. The whole Klingon-Federation end of the cold war thing was handled perfectly, especially because it didn't set out to make the Federation or even the main characters appear completely wonderful and perfect (Kirk's "let them die!" line being a good example of that). This movie and pretty much the whole of Deep Space Nine ...

@ryanwho said:I wouldn't object to Q showing up either, or some other Q-like person. It would certainly make Abrams style deus ex machinas easier to explain away.Trelane? :)

The borg? Just no, Voyager completely killed them and the writers have always resorted to them when they're desperate or want to seem "cool". It's the Star Trek equivalent of Venom.Khan could work, if it was less of a remake of Wrath of Khan and more a remake of Space Seed. The Enterprise find and revive Khan and his crew, who then proceeds to take over the ship. But I ...

I really wish they'd re-edit this movie. Make a few changes to this and Episode 2, and you can turn them into semi-watchable movies.Still, I want to see it, if only because I only got into Star Wars after Episode 2, and didn't have the chance to see any of them in the cinema, besides 3.

@dvdhaus said: @Christina: I agree. I was always intrigued by the premise of Voyager. I watched the beginning episodes then started missing a couple. Maybe that could be my next recap show I'll watch.Voyager had a great concept, it was just horribly used. They were supposed to be stranded in space, with limited supplies, no back up and half the crew comprised of renegade officers. But the Maquee played no part ...

Like's been said, the original series is pretty dated at this point. It still has some great ideas and some really good episodes, but if you're not already a fan, most of it will come off as pretty silly and campy, it's not an ideal starting point. I'd recommend starting with the original movies, with 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6.Star Trek 5 is downright awful and actually worsens the ...

Don't these rumours appear every other year? Voice actors complain, rumours start up that show will be cancelled, compromise is reached.. It's been suggested FOX themselves start up these rumours to pressure the voice cast, and that wouldn't surprise me.

@UnbreakableVow said:I hope that the ears are just the shape the goggles make, and not actually intended to just be cosmetic ears.Other than that, I love it. We don't know the context of the heels yet, so maybe that will be explained away.I believe this was said a while back, when the first pictures were put up. When she wears the goggles up, they look like cat ears. Definitely not ...
