The Hunger Games return with such a sequel twist that you can't believe writer Suzanne Collins didn't think of film when writing. Catching Fire builds up with all types of subversive messaging which is interesting but also brings into relief the limitations of the genre and film.
Cormac McCarthy’s bones and Ridley Scott's style do not make The Counselor something more than an interesting curiosity. A film that seems destined more to be remembered as that move where Cameron Diaz does that thing with the car than anything else.
A prissy, but very generous, unicorn who uses her own magic to create fabulous dresses. One of the main characters from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".
Rarity is a Ponyville native and dress designer, as well as a friend of Twilight Sparkle. She operates, and lives at, Carousel Boutique with her little sister, Sweetie Belle, where she creates fabulous custom outfits for local, and famous, clientele.
Her cutie mark, three blue diamonds, represent her gem-finding abilities.
Not much is currently known about Rarity's backstory, other than the time when she first used her new-found gem scouting magic to create dresses for a school play. But ever since, she has continued her dream of becoming a successful fashion designer, having opened her very own boutique for her creations.
Of the main characters, Rarirty is literally the most lady-like. While this doesn't always make her weak, it does keep her from performing various tasks. Her speech is as elegant as her appearance, and she always concerned with the latter. She hates getting dirty, or being associated with anything filthy. Also, her generosity and aspects as an artist has lead her to be an incurable perfectionist. One of Rarity's key traits is her generosity. She is always willing to
do what it takes to help those around her look their best, sometimes
overworking herself in the process. She also has a tendency to be over-dramatic and critical; once deciding to confine herself to her room after a failed fashion show.
Rarity was introduced in the third generation of My Little Pony toys, back in 2004.
She owns a cat named Opalescence, who frequently lashes out at her.
Rarity isn't in any shows or movies? If that's not right, go add Rarity to something!
