The directors of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs have taken one of the earliest FOX shows and made something out of it. Something that can only be described as wonderful.

Holy shit, Tatum looks like he does not suck in this movie. Me like.

Bigheart711on Nov. 2, 2011 at 7 p.m.

Hm. This actually looks good.

sissylionon Nov. 2, 2011 at 7:13 p.m.

Jonah Hill has a contract to be hit by a car at least once every five years.

vinsanityv22on Nov. 2, 2011 at 7:14 p.m.

Wait....wait...what?

So...they're real cops, who get transferred....to a movie/tv studio....that's resurrecting 21 Jump Street....but for real?

None of this makes sense to me. That is a REAL confusing trailer. Granted, I've never seen the original show. I just know that Johnny Depp was on it and Bruce Lee showed up for an episode where he whupped some dude and taught him that lesson about water (which is where the famous quote, "Be like water, my friend" comes from). At least, I THINK that's where Bruce Lee used that. Maybe it would make more sense if I knew anything about 21 Jump Street prior.

At any rate, this is clearly the best work that Channing Tatum has done so far. He seems ...actually....charming here (?). And funny. Color me surprised; pleasantly so:) This bodes well for GI Joe 2 (well, that, and the new director, actors, tone, costumes, etc.)

The movie is still weird though. Not a good trailer.

I laughed a few times, but there's no way this can be good, right? Right guys??

I want to hate this, I hate almost everybody in it, but goddamnit I can't.

leejunfan83on Nov. 2, 2011 at 7:53 p.m.

squishrhinoon Nov. 2, 2011 at 8:11 p.m.

cexantuson Nov. 2, 2011 at 8:31 p.m.

Looks kind of good. And the directors from Cloudy? I expect some hilarious, weird shit in there.

I'm in.

Lydian_Selon Nov. 2, 2011 at 8:40 p.m.

Wow Jonah Hill lost a ton of weight, good for him.

Max21on Nov. 2, 2011 at 8:45 p.m.

Oddly enough, this movie looks real funny.
FoxMulderon Nov. 2, 2011 at 8:57 p.m.

Thing Jonah Hill will take a while to get used to, but way to go for him!

Spiritofon Nov. 2, 2011 at 9:10 p.m.

If they can remix the original theme, I'm in.

(first Channing Tatum movie that I might actually be hyped for)

RockinKemosabeon Nov. 2, 2011 at 9:46 p.m.

I honestly thought this was going to be PG-13. Guess this proves the power of the R-rated comedy nowadays.

Huh? The movie is obviously a sequel to the TV Show, when the captain says they're reviving "an undercover police program from the 80s" he means they're bringing back an undercover operation. And that's a church.

Also, WTF about Bruce Lee? huh? You know Bruce Lee died in the 70s right?

I'd say he looks pretty healthy.

I think knowing almost nothing about the original series helps me be ok with this movie. It looks pretty funny and as annoying as Channing Tatum is, he is at his best when he is playing the big, dumb idiot.

Agreed, all I know is my little sis watched bits of it, and this looks fantastic.
