1:15: The cast and director of Salt take the stage. And, oh dear, this is based on a spec script by Kurt Wimmer, creator of Ultraviolet. That might be a bad sign. I'm sure the script has gone through a lot of hands since then, though.

Some cool new footage. When Salt takes over the humvee that the guards are driving, she forces his unconscious body to hit the gas by tasing him in the leg. Pretty cool. Also a look at a new haircut, short black hair; Salt is jumping around while handcuffed. Looks cool but it is mostly the same footage from the multiple trailers that we've seen.

Audience questions start pretty quick this time around. Angelina, is this a method acting film for you? Yes it is! Good, short question. Bespectacled gentleman asks if she did her own stunts, and Jolie tells about jumping through a door and rolling sideways...right into a desk. She thought she had a concussion because she couldn't hear anything, then realized that she just had her earpieces in to protect from gunfire.

1:30: Angelina says that this film combines action and drama and that was appealing to her. She comes off as a bit machine-like here, like she's a robot affecting a human personality to better understand us. Everything she says is very perfect, in a weird, polished, marketable way.
Liev only does stunts if nothing fast is going to be coming at him and/or his clothes won't get torn. There are some truly insufferable assholes sitting in front of me now so thata makes it a bit hard to concentrate on Jolie's smoothness. She has a lot of words but doesn't say much.  There's apparently some kind of rule that everyone has to fawn over Jolie before asking their question. "You're the reason I'm a theater major!" Shoot for the stars, kiddo.

1:32: They talk a bit about changing the sex of the main character; if you weren't familiar, this project was originally written for a man. Lorenzo DiBonaventura is here, producer of GI Joe and Transformers. His involvement with this film is scary. Kurt Wimmer, DiBonaventura? Not exactly awesome names attached to this project.

Wow, there are some majorly awkward people in the questions line here. Maybe it's fitting, because this is definitely the tamest panel yet.

I do not like Angelina Jolie and sadly she seems the only woman in hollywood doing action films.

@Tartarus:
I've always wondered, what's her main strength anyhow? What movie do people think of when they think of Angelina Jolie and go "Hey, I really liked her in that?" I mean from one Jolie hater to another, I'm just wondering what kind of people like her?

I read the original script for this when it was a Tom Cruise vehicle called EDWIN A. SALT.

It was a pretty cool espionage thriller with fairly little action, until a preposterously overblown finale that never really meshed with the rest of it.

Looks like they beefed up the action in this and toned down the suspense.
