With the U.S. premiere only a scant week and some change away (August 13) the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World marketing machine is at a fever pitch now, and though we've been bombarded by at least three versions of the trailer over the past few months, well, what's one more on the pile. However, not content to just re-cut another series of scenes, Universal has gone for broke and produced an i-Trailers feature--the third of its kind by my reckoning. The footage still consists of the standard theatrical trailer, but clicking on the video at certain prompts will enable the viewer to see scene info and featurettes, plus listen to audio recordings from director Edgar Wright. A tidy little treasure trove of behind-the-scenes trivia to be sure.

Took me about fifteen minutes to get through the entire trailer, so consider this a quasi-anti-productivity post best done during a break. And now that I've finished that, making this the umpteenth time to watch this thing, I still can't decide who's more adorable: Mary Elizabeth Winstead or Ellen Wong. Help me out here folks.

You can check out the trailer after the jump. We put it there because it automatically starts playing audio every time you load the page. Gotta love that.

That's a damn interesting way of advertising a movie, I have to say.

Damn it, I love Scott Pilgrim so much and I love Edgar Wright's movies so much but I still can't help but feel nervous about how this movie is gonna perform. Most of the pre-release reviews have been positive, even from non-Pilgrim fans so I have really high hopes.

Also: Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Sorry, Wong.

Cool, just wish they'd change that damn tagline. Irritates the Hell out of me.

@OhHiMovie: I'm sorry, but that answer is outside the parameters of the question. (Anna Kendrick reminds me waaaaaaay too much of my friend's wife.)

I can't decide, it was clearly Ellen till I saw Mary Elizabeth without the wig, then there's just reguarly cute Anna Kendrick. AHHH I can't choose!

The correct answer is Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

I saw a preview screening and the adorableness award goes straight to Ellen Wong. She is painfully, horrifyingly cute in this movie. It's insane.

Almost painful to a point of pain.  But then I realize that is exactly what Knives is supposed to be.  Teen drama, personified and unleashed for the first time ever.

Defeat seven evil ex-boyfriends? That's easy. Once my girlfriend made me defeat twenty-five evil kittens. At least, I'm pretty sure they were evil.
