i wish the first desert alone scene was done better on film... make it more depressing :P
i... i like the film version of matthew patel better :P

Same here about the desert scene. I love that thing. And as an indian kid raised in the west who denounces bollywood, i cringed during the matthew patel scene, but it was a good cringe. Even though I read all the books first, I'm kinda torn between which i liked more. I really wanted Scott to end up with knives, apparently that was how it was supposed to end in the movie." i loved the movie, and just started reading the books. i wish the first desert alone scene was done better on film... make it more depressing :P i... i like the film version of matthew patel better :P "
Example: me. I'm kidding, i've already had it spoiled for a little." @Diabloshadow: Might wanna spoiler tag that, friend. I've already read all six volumes so I'm fine with it, but some other folks might not take too kindly to it.
" i love the first half of the film but i like the last half of the books. its just cause there were a lot of emotional scenes near the end of the book series that i dont think were done as great in the film. still loved both though a lot "this is true. after Todd Ingram, the rest of the movie would've been better if it correlated more with the books, with the appropriate characters (after the same point.)
