I didn't at all . It wasn't the Scrubs I knew . Those new characters are annoying

It just felt kinda average. If they'd properly re-branded it instead of straight up calling it scrubs (with [Med School] in tiny writing) then  I think it may have got less hate. 
I think the real problem is that season 8 finished so well - that was the end of scrubs, which made season 9 feel kinda pointless as we'd already got closure.

I thought it had a bit of a rough start, but kinda got decent near the end of it. 
Cox still had some awesome rants.

i didn't even know there was a ninth season. was so anticipating season 7 after season 6's cliffhanger, but lost interest after that

@Butano: Totally agree. It wasn't half bad towards the end there, though it did slightly tarnish the name of the series a little bit. I still enjoyed it, but I'm not sad that it's over. 
 
I actually think bringing back JD, Turk, and Cox was a bad idea. They should have just started completely new.

@fuzzay: I think it would've been ok if it was just Cox and Turk and maybe Kelso. JD and the rest of the gang just felt completely unnecessary because they were supposed to be gone by the season 8 finale.

I thought it was okay, but it's nothing like past seasons. It was probably just good in a different way.

I enjoyed it. I got to like all the med students, and they provided some pretty consistent humor.

I actually kinda enjoyed it a lot, not better than the later seasons like 7 and 8, but good in a different way.

i watched it..didnt like it so much..the med students are kinda annoying..but its got a fresh new direction to go with, i admit, with a female protagonist n all..

Series 9!? Whoa... I remember seeing an interview on a dvd for season 4 or 5 where they said they were ending the show at season 7. Also seasons 3 & 4 were kinda bad anyway.

I watched the first 4 episodes of it and then it just lost me completely. Even though Zach Braff was still there, the show definitely wasn't the same. Long live Scrubs seasons 1 - 8 in my mind! 
 
EDIT: And maybe take out 7 also. Wasn't great.
