Seven Psychopaths was written and directed by Martin McDonagh. He also wrote In Bruges, which also stars Colin Farrell. I love Martin McDonagh. I'm not sure what it says about me, but his dark and somewhat twisted comedy is my favorite kind and I'm looking forward to another joyride with him. This time around, it is about a bunch of guys who "accidentally" kidnap the beloved Shih Tsu of a mean LA Crime Boss (Woody Harrelson). Oh, and Tom Waits (and Sam Rockwell) are in it, which is also amazing.

I must say, this is one of the first trailers in a long time that has made me legitimately excited for a movie. I'm also happy to hopefully see Colin Farrell redeem himself after the recent Total Recall remake and hope that he will keep doing comedies from here on out, as I believe that is where he really excels. Off to watch the trailer for the third time....

I was one of the people who was let down by In Bruges when I first saw it because the trailer made it seem more like a comedy than it really was. Still, I should go back and revisit the movie. As for Seven Psychopaths, it looks quite good. Cooky premise. Great cast. Again, it could be the same situation as with In Bruges. At least my expectation will be a little bit different this time.

That Christopher Walken bit was the best part.

Pretty much exactly this. ^

Although colour me interested mainly for Sam Rockwell. Guy doesn't get nearly enough credit.

This actually looks pretty fun! (:

I prefer Colin Farrell in comedy and of course, Abbie Cornish is always awesome to watch (:

I don't know what others didn't like about In Bruges, but personally I think it's great and Colin Farrell's really only good film. As for Seven Psychopaths, I'm definitely on board, I love the cooky humor and anything with Woody and Sam Rockwell is something that I will watch.

Despite what some people may think about Total Recall, I actually thought that was an entertaining action movie, with Kate Beckinsale the highlight of the film as a real bad-ass b****

This however, looks hilarious and twisted, and the bonus for me is that the cast seems to be having a lot of fun, especially both Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell.
