I'm surprised I couldn't find a thread for this what with many of you guys being Dr. Who fans.
The first episode aired on Sunday and is available on iPlayer.
It's written by Steven Moffat (Current head writer for Dr. Who) and Mark Gatiss. (Who along with being one of the League of Gentlemen, wrote an episode of the most recent series of Dr. Who.)
Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Sherlock and is excellently eccentric and charming. I remember seeing him in a bio-drama about Stephen Hawking and he was brilliant in that too.
Martin Freeman stars as Dr. Watson, a retired army doctor who meets Holmes through a friend and immediately gets swept up into his crazy world.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and would recommend to fans of Dr. Who and Holmes fans alike. It was engaging, well-acted and very entertaining.
