There's almost no chance that this won't be more entertaining than Mirror, Mirror, of course, but I'm curious to see precisely how good it manages to be. With a first-time feature director who's known for special-effects-laden shorts, there's obviously a few questions to be answered, but the trailers thus far have been pretty great. Kristen Stewart is the obvious question mark, and again, consider me curious about the logic of making an army of soldiers that simply break when they're tapped on the shoulder.
I'm figuring at this point that a lot of the shots of the armies clashing are from the end of the film, and I have a feeling my estimation of the events of the movie are pretty close to what's actually going to happen, which isn't a good thing for a trailer to reveal. Here's hoping there are still some surprises waiting for us this summer.
Also, does anyone else think that the Queen's crown draws a bit of inspiration from Sauron from Lord Of The Rings?
