raimi tempts fate with this third entry in his fabled spider-series. if an effort to "amp" up the andrenalin shown on screen, he doubles the spider count, and doubles our pleasure in the process. he also introduces us to the sand monster, a sand-being of great power whom proves to be the an irritation in spiderman's ass crack. you know whom else is back, goby, thats who. raimi also presents venom for our enjoyment, but audience polls collated since the film's release have shown venom to be a literal ass bandit in the eyes of the viewing public. MJ is in the firum, and MJ is as resplendent as ever, her effervescence bubbles to the surface, allowing us viewers to lap at those bubbles, and giggle as they pop airily around our mouth holes. there are more characters but as raimi has since become aware, movies with this many characters are impossible to follow, and i often found myself, scratching my chins, and asking, "where is goby?", "why is that man dancing?" "aunt may again?" unfortunately at the time of writing, raimi was unavailable for comment, but here's hoping if raimi ever does make another spider movie, he bases it on the rhino man, a complicated character that is all at once intimidating, and a human voice for plight of the endangered rhino.
