This was a lot of fun, and good advertising.

Yep this was an awesome experience. Even though I think the show kinda sucks but, hey I watched none the less ( almost 4 hour folks,) and had an absolute blast. Weird rouge-like and plane sim games and even got through on a call! It was "a long road," ending at 4 am on the East, but it was well wroth it! :D
Do more of this shit! My name is chapel and I approve this msg..

Great to see Screened interviewing the people who were behind the show. Hopefully they get enough street cred to do some more of these. I will definitely be tuning in to this show...looks awesome and I love most of everything on AS.

Braving the crowds and the stank, what a warrior Matthew Rorie is.

This is what makes Whiskey Media better than everyone else.

Gotta say, I love Rorie's interviewing style. Way more conversational than most shiz like this. Made it work.

Matt's gotta kinda buddy style to interviewing. Which is way better than asking ?'s and waiting for responses..

The interviews were great! Had a great time during the stream

Oh god, now Whiskey Media and Earwolf, my two favorite sources of entertainment, are one degree from each other... I don't think I can handle this.  That means that there is a small possibility that Paul Scheer could get Paul F. Tompkins to be on a Bombcast to do his Ice-T, with Jonny V doing his Ice-T and the REAL Ice-T being motherfucking Ice-T... FUCK.

I don't understand why anyone could have a complaint about this feature. If it wasn't marked as advertising you would never be able to tell the difference. Absolutely fantastic.

Wow. Weird, I listen to all those dudes podcasts. I'm totally down with this sort of marketing as long as it continues to be sort of transparent and honest. good stuff guys.

I loved the Martin Starr interview
craigbo180on July 23, 2011 at 5:45 p.m.
I know this was because of advertising but I would love to see more interviews like this.
hawkinson76on July 23, 2011 at 6:31 p.m.

that was excellent.

This is how you do Sponsored Content. Thank you Whiskey Media for eschewing obnoxious, site-obstructing ads and just - GASP! - actually talking to the cast and running a feature!

That being said, I probably won't watch this:) I'll give it a shot because I like Paul Scheer - who has one of the best podcasts on the internet -, but I have very low hopes for it. Children's Hospital, despite the presence of many funny people in the cast and many hilarious people guest starring, and Sarah Silverman occasionally, is pretty terrible. Eagle heart is even worse. So this? Probably gonna be bad too. I can totally see why they couldn't get deals on Comedy Central for these shows; they're bad. And that's saying something, because CC greenlit Nick Swardson's Pretend-Time (another painfully awful show from a comedian whose actually very funny).

I'll give it a chance Paul Scheer. But I'll say this...didn't laugh during any of the scenes in the video. All of you; funny in real life, interacting with Rorie. But in the show? Ehhhhhh.....

Also, why was GiantBomb's Vinny the camera man? :)

I really enjoyed this broadcast. I don't usually check out the Whiskey live stuff, but the promise of actual interviews lured me in. I'm definitely glad that I did, because the interviews were great and it brought the community together in an effective way. I have to say that it was successful advertising, too, because I'm now more interested in the show than I would have been before. If this sort of advertising can become a regular feature, and Whiskey Media is both completely transparent about their actions and sponsors products that they can actually get behind, I'm entirely for it.

However, if Whiskey continues with this, they're going to have to be careful. Considering the type of show NTSF:SD:SUV:: is, I doubt that Turner had any real issue with the broadcast, but if it's something a little more serious, the stream could be an issue. If some broadcasting company employee tunes into the show and, instead of seeing content related to their product, instead sees some guys trying to fly a plane, or Rorie drunkenly talking about puppies for five minutes, there could be an issue.

Regardless, I had a good enough time to spend about four hours in that chat, and I'm on the East Coast. Keep it up, Whiskey, just be wary of who you partner with.
