The Villain is Pretty Much Who We Expected It to Be.

So Cumberbatch is indeed playing Khan. When del Toro was first rumoured it seemed much more plausible that Khan would be the villain, but once Cumberbatch was cast I began having doubts. But apparently Khan will be introduced in a different way than how Ricardo Montalban was in the original series, so here's hoping they don't muck it up.

Anyway, Cumberbatch is a brilliant young actor and I'm excited to see what he brings to the role (hopefully some Shakespeare quotes). Also, Nimoy is un-retiring to be Spock again in the movie. So now that Khan is practically confirmed to be the villain, does this make you more or less excited?

Here's hoping they do not use the line "Khan!!!"

While i have never seen more than one or two episodes of Star Trek, I have heard of Khan. I might check this one out, but it depends on how the first Abrams Star Trek movie goes. However I will definitely see this in they include this in the remake:
