Episode 1 had Liam Neeson, which automatically makes it NOT worse. I also don't find Jar Jar and pod racing as reprehensible as some do. Episode II seemed like a filler film, just a way to bridge the gap between Ep I and III. Episode III contained the entirely too rushed "Turn to the dark side", but probably the most solid story of the three.
I consider Attack of the Clones to be the worst of the prequels. The love story was abysmal, the script was uninspired, and the acting was beyond shoddy. It's only redeeming quality is the Jedi army scene - which I wouldn't call good, but it was sort of neat to see.
Thank you, good sir. I completely agree with you. I actually enjoyed The Phantom Menace. Qui Gon Jinn's my favorite jedi, man. I think Attack of the Clones is easily the worst movie in the series. It had 2 things going for it, though. The Colisseum battle scene was pretty awesome, and, well, Natalie Portman.
