Hey, do you like Star Wars? Well, you probably do...but probably not as much as the contributors to the Star Wars Uncut project, which slices the original A New Hope film up into 15-second chunks, lets people recreate those chunks in media of their own choosing, and then splices the whole thing back together into one big, glorious homage to Lucas' original homage to Flash Gordon serials. So it's like an homage squared, or something.
There's a clip of it above, but just recently the entire thing was published in full on the Star Wars Uncut website . If you want to see A New Hope recreated with hand puppets, LEGO, household pets, amateur actors from around the world, and...pizza, feel free to give it a whirl. Maybe it'll be a handy reminder as to why so many people feel so much affection for Star Wars, despite all the griping that them Special Editions caused.
