In nearly every film featuring aliens every said alien seems to be the exact same height and weight. Do you really mean to tell me that there are not tall, short, fat, or skinny people on your world? Not to mention different ethnicities on Planet Whatever.

Not just the Stormtroopers, but a few specific ones- when Obi-Wan shuts off the tractor beam, there are two of them standing there, talking about new types of speeders, ignoring Obi-Wan sneaking around.

This is all going a bit too well, everyone should be very careful.

A ton of movies have a very cliche scene where somebody ends up falling to what would seem to be inevitable death, be it off a building, a cliff, or what have you. Naturally, our timely protagonist (not always the case, however...) manages to dive and grab the falling persons hand just in time, saving them.

Villains love to show off how evil they are, and one of the best ways to do so is to coldly murder one of their own men, either for failing the villain, because they're injured, or simply for the fun of it.

"When I look at you I see myself" (Gordon Gekko, Wall Street) This narrative concept involves a person seeing his own traits in a younger individual. It also describes a father/son, teacher/pupil relationship that is common in certain movies.

Our manly protagonist mows down waves upon waves of nameless, worthless henchmen. Somehow the henchmen fire a zillion bullets at our protagonist, but their aim is either that bad or the action hero is that unstoppable that rarely does the hero get struck. Also known as "Stormtrooper Syndrome."
