Stargate Atlantis is a spin-off of the popular Stargate-SG1. It follows a group of civilian and military personnel who discover Atlantis, the city of the ancients, and explore the Pegasus Galaxy.

Trivia:

Samantha Carter mentions the spaceship The Phoenix has been renamed The General Hammond. This is in Honor of Don S. Davis who played General Hammond, and had recently died of a Heart attack.
