The genius scientist who got the girl who despised him to later fall in love with him. Also a good inventor even though his inventions almost always fail.
Most of what we know about Steve's home life comes from jokes in the show like when Steve says that his relatives send him money to not visit them and his parents set a curfew that he cannot be home until midnight. Steve's parents moved to Russia late in the series and Steve went to go live with the Winslows where his love Laura who despised him early on in the seasons falls in love with him and they later arrange to get married. Steve is also the youngest person in space and thanks to his invention and science skills, he managed to save himself when he was trapped out of the space shuttle and was hurdling into nowhere. The Winslows have come to accept Steve as a member of their family after much time being spent with him.
