OH YEAH. I am SO psyched for this film. J. J. Abrams has always been a little hit-and-miss in my opinion (anybody remember Undercovers? Neither do I), but I still sort of love the guy. Also, fuck yeah Spielberg nostalgia.

Don't tell me this is going to be a "kids save the day" movie. Wait is that a cliché on the site yet cause if its not it should be? If it ain't done by the time I get back, then I got some work to do.

I just signed-the-fuck-up for this. God, I feel Close Encounters and E.T. channeling through this, despite Spielberg being only a producer.

And yes, this looks absolutely wonderful and whimsical. Good to see Kyle Chandler basically playing his role from friday night lights again, but whatever, the more that guy works the happier I'll be.

If someone pitched me Stand By Me meets E.T. meets King Kong, I would've greenlit that shit right away! Totally excited for this.
