Swearing revenge after having been wronged in the past, Sweeney Todd sets up a barbershop/bakery, where they serve meat pies made of people while he hones his wicked ways.
This is the second musical that Johnny Depp has starred in but this is the first one where he actually sings. He was only lip-syncing in Cry-Baby (1990).
5 More TriviaBlood forms a spiral pattern in the opening credits sequence of "Sweeney Todd". This red spiral is a recurring motif throughout "Don't Look Now". Both films also deal with self-destructive obsession.
