Switchblade

A switchblade or "flick knife" is a type of knife in which the blade is folded into or slid into the handle. The blade comes out by pressing a button or switch. Although it is most often associated with the youth culture of the 1950's and street gangs, it has had lengthy use in the cinema continuing in the present day.
