Most famous for her roles in Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Rugrats and, most recently, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Tara Strong has had a prolific 25 year career in movies and television.
Tara started her career acting at age 13 when she took on the role of Gracie in the musical The Music Man. Soon after, she earned the lead role on Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater and also starred in the short lived CBC Television sitcom Mosquito Lake. After these roles, she moved to Los Angeles in 1994, during the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
Her film career began in 1997, when she provided the voice of Kaya for the Japanese film Princess Mononoke. The next year, she starred in the films The Rugrats Movie and Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. The next couple of years she was especially busy, starring in many movies such as Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, Sprited Away, Ice Age, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, The Wild Thornberrys Movie, Rugrats Go Wild, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman, The Proud Family Movie, Ben 10: The Secret of Omnitrix, Secrets of the Furious Five, Wonder Woman and The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! Some of her live action movie roles have been in the movies National Lampoon's Senior Trip, Sabrina Goes to Rome and Sabrina Down Under.
Her live action television career is mostly as a guest star. Some of the shows that she has appeared in include Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Party of Five, The Outer Limits, Touched by an Angel, and According to Jim. She was the announcer for the second season of The Bad Girls Club and was a presenter for the Kid's Choice Awards in 1999.
Tara is most famous, however, for her roles in various animated TV shows. The first character that made her famous was Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The New Batman Adventures. She then moved onto voicing Dil Pickles in both Rugrats and Rugrats: All Grown Up. In 1998, she got the role of Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls and the role of Molly Dolly in Sabrina the Teenage Witch. From 1999, she began getting more and more voiceover roles including Becky Benson in Recess, Bebe and Cece Proud in The Proud Family, Timmy Turner in The Fairly OddParents, Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in Gotham Girls, Raven in Teen Titans, Omi in Xiaolin Showdown, Ben Tennyson in Ben 10, Cindy McPhearson in The Boondocks, Turffles in Chowder, Huntress in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Doctor Serling Roquette in Young Justice.

When she moved to Los Angeles, she roomed with Neve Campbell, who she had known since high school. They both auditioned for the part of Julia in Party of Five, but Neve got the part and it proved to be her first major role. Some of her favorite things include The Wizard of Oz(movie) Alice in Wonderland(movie) and Raven in Teen Titans(role).
In 1999, she met actor Mark Strong at a party and they got married on May 14, 2000. They have two sons and they live in Toluca Lake, California. Tara and her husband started the company VoiceStarz Inc. which helps people who are looking to break into the voiceover business.
