Terra

Background

Little is known about Terra's origins except that she traveled frequently and never stayed in one place for a long time. She possibly had a very rough childhood as she took out her anger on Robin on one occasion angrily saying she was "not some unhelpful little girl".

Major Plots

Teen Titans

When she arrived In Jump City, the Titans quickly welcomed her in to the team; at first she seemed perfect for the team but Terra housed a dark secret- she couldn't control her powers and had caused natural disasters several due to her lack of control. When Beast Boy revealed her secret to the team, she felt betrayed and left them, and was sought out by Slade- the Titans archenemy who trained to fully hone her powers. Terra rejoined the team-secretly working for Slade to destroy the team from within.

Personality

Terra is insecure about her powers, she wants to do good but her lack of control over her powers more often than not causes problems. She is especially close with Beast Boy, who feels he knows her best. At first she got along with all the Titans except for Raven but she later grew to have much respect for Terra.

Powers & Abilities

Terra is geokinetic meaning she has the ability to control and manipulate Earth. Over the course of the show, she is able to use her powers to fly through the air by riding on a boulder, hurl rocks as projectiles, form a giant fist of rock, and the ability to change Earth into another form (she could make Mud solid).
