I know this might be considered "youtube spam", or whatever, but a new trailer for the new Spiderman reboot just got unleashed onto the interwebs and I was just wondering what everyone thought of it. I know the general consensus has been that this film is unnecessary, unoriginal, blah, blah, blah, but I for one am very excited for it, always have been. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are two of my favourite young actors working in movies at the moment and my only frame of reference for director Marc Webb is 500 Days of Summer, which I couldn't adore more. I have no reason to be anything but optimistic. Being sandwiched between two of the most anticipated superhero movies, um, EVER (The Avengers and Dark Knight Rises), is a bit of a downfall but I reckon it'll still keep it's head above water, box office wise.
Anyway, I've blathered on enough. What are YOUR thoughts on the new trailer? Has it changed your mind, for bad or for good? Are you going to see it? Do you reckon it'll live up to the expectations put forth by Sam Raimi? OH and thoughts on the villain? I think this trailer is the first proper peek we've had at him.
