Godzilla

When Peter tells Capt. Stacy about Dr. Connors turning into a giant lizard, he says: "What do I look like, the Mayor of Tokyo?"

Rear Window

Peter Parker of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN has a poster for REAR WINDOW on his bedroom wall.

Spider-Man

The title is introduced in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN in much the same way as the longer into done with spider webbing in SPIDER-MAN. A few other elements are on purposefully similar: One of the first shots of MJ in SPIDER-MAN is through Peter's camera lens with a circle in the middle; this is replicated with Gwen Stacy in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. SPIDER-MAN's first foray with the webbing is similar as well. SPOILER: In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, Captain Stacy's dying speech forcing Spider-man to promise not to see Gwen mirrors Norman Osborn's dying speech forcing Spider-man to promise not to tell Harry anything in SPIDER-MAN.
