Alas, that footage got pulled. Sorry folks! I'm sure you can find another way to view it if you poke around.

Check out the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man above. It'll get yanked probably as soon as I post this, but then, that's what I said about the Avengers footage I posted a few days ago, and that was up for a few hours. This is an actual trailer for the film, so I assume that it'll be posted in front of one of this weekend's films (likely Captain America), but if you don't mind some shakicam at the moment, check it out above.

Mirror's Edge: The Movie: Spider-Man Edition.

I didn't like how it went into first person at the end. Overall it looks decent but I'm not expecting much.

I got that vibe too but I don't think they pulled it off well.

I had some hope for this one. But that disappeared when this trailer confirmed the rehash of the origin story and the first person webslinging just feels bad to me.

Eeeeeh. I really don't know. I'm hoping this was just a bad trailer and that the movie is a lot more impressive than this. It was totally forgettable.

Mind you, you're commenting on a low res, shaky cam footage. Wait for the real thing.

I still don't like this brooding fingerless gloves-wearing Peter Parker. Maybe there's a comic book universe where he's like this, but I don't really like it that much. Then again I'm kind of tired of gritty adaptations of comic book heroes in general. Glad there's something like Captain America coming out.

Also are all Nolan movie trailers dictating how all movie trailers are supposed to be now? Cause I got a total Dark Knight vibe from that trailer cause of the music.

Sure it's boring, we've already seen Spider-man, some what like this, very recently.

But I'm confused about the origin. It was pretty dark, so couldn't really tell, but did they Sandman/"The Fly" Peter Parker and a spider, or did he get bitten?

I seriously dislike marking this as news and giving it a prominent spot on the main page. Shakicam footage is low-rent by definition, but it also degrades the sites that advertise its availability -- making a site like this more of a tabloid than I thought it was supposed to be. I don't expect things like this on a Whiskey Media site, which should pride itself on being better than this. If you want to write a news story on the fact it was leaked that's one thing, but to embed to the video and solicit viewers "before it's yanked" lowers the bar for screened.
