If you have Netflix, watch this movie.

It is a great film. It is filled with grim humor, satire, and honesty. It is a historical account of America's affair with nuclear weapons from the first experimental bomb through the 50s and 60s that will never be taught in any school, even though it most definitely should. One of my favorite non-fiction films.

i just saw this movie and you couldn't be more wrong. The facts it misses--such as that "duck and cover" actually is helpful in the case of many atomic explosions--are shocking, as well as the fact that it ignores the horrors of World War 2 leading up to the a-bomb detonations, and that it refuses to show most of the political differences between the East and West. Furthermore, everything from the humor to the tone are ridiculously dated.

I can see why people who became adults in the 70s and 80s would find this funny and interesting (even if it's not), but this is not a movie that any other generation (older or younger) should watch.
