The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! Forum

Anybody watching this series?  It's pretty good, there's a lot I don't like, but a lot that I do like about this show... I hope they expand the cast of heroes and bring in more females!

Lance Henriksen, LeVar Burton and Nolan North? Where can I see this?

Unfortunately, it only airs on Disney XD...but you can catch it online on youtube (which is what I do lol)

I've watched the first two episodes and it seems pretty good so far. It was nice to see one of my favorite characters, Graviton, used to prominently in those episodes. I'm interested to see what heroes and villains they decide to use in the series as it progresses.

happened upon this show one sunday morning - have to say i'm pleasantly surprised!
 
definitely interested in getting to know the modern/current versions of these characters in the lead up to the new Avengers movies  
 
would also love to read some of the comics, if only a small cross section, if i had the money & time...

I really like this show. It definately trumps the original. I can't wait till May, then XD will air new episodes.

I love it. It's so silver age yet done in a very contemporary way (Ultimate Marvel influences and all). It's my favourite Marvel animated series after Spectacular Spider-Man. 

Its a good show I wish they did more multi episode stories like Gamma World and the Kang arc where the problem felt Avengers worthy. They are hinting at a eventual Kree Skrull war thing so that could be good and they still have yet to unleash Ultron who they have set up to turn. 

Yeah every few weeks people seem to upload a few eps to youtube etc Until the DVD hits the shelves that's the only way I've been able to check it

Any MODOK or obscure Marvel characters showing up like Squirrel Girl or Stilt Man?

ms. marvel will join in season 2, as will falcon. returning villains will be kang, ultron(and vision will be created), A.I.M., the masters of evil, and the kree/skrull war will happen, dr. doom will finally make an appearance, and the red skull will appearantly return as well. that's all i know for right now

So no MODOK or Great Lake Initiative then?

Anyone know when season 2 is coming out?

It seems like Season One is leading up to the Civil War with Nick Fury disappearing, Maria Hill becoming Director of SHIELD, and the Negative Zone Prison appearing. The only problem though is that I don't see Iron Man joining Maria Hill's side and they haven't all the characters necessary to the original plot. Anyways I'm really looking forward to Season Two and seeing Ms. Marvel on the team. The only problem I have with this show is that since it's Disney, it will never reach the storytelling levels Justice League did like instead of having the Justice League go up against supervillains, they were fighting against the US Government and Superman assassinating President Luthor. I wish Avengers could do stuff like that but as long as Marvel Animation is run by Disney, their shows can never reach those heights.
