Whats with Cap's avenger costume? It looks like they put him back in the fake costume he was in.

When I saw Thor I was asked by a member of staff at the cinema I was in why was I sitting through the credits.  Surely by this point staff in cinemas should be aware that there's always gonna be something at the end of every Marvel movie.

Odd, but I get it.

@growl: I think the Marvel movies are is straddling the line between the 616 universe and the Ultimates universe. Ultimate Nick Fury (the one modeled after Sam Jackson) was not a part of the Howling Commandos (don't think they exist in the Ultimate Universe) and he didn't come into contact with Cap until he found him in the ice. At least that's what I can gather from the Comic Vine page.

I feel bad for watching the clip but I doesn't spoil much.

Yep, its a snip of a movie. For those who don't know about Caps book history, this may surprise them to see him in modern times . . . and do little to deter movie going out of context or even in, right? Now . . . the sixth sense twist or crying game twister . . . you'd not really post those context moments . . . . Anyways, saw the movie, enjoyed the journey . . . and not necessarily this snip, so little harm little foul, IMO. Anyways, the Avengers pretty much is a modern day movie from what I'd gather and if they've been saying their latest movies minus the mutants lead into that with a certain set of characters . . . . . how much does this impact anything at all?

On aside, the theater I was in, most of the audience remained for whatever end sequence would follow . . . and I can say, waiting for such is an exercise in patience since most people bolt as soon as the real fade to black occurs. Anyways . . . here's to the Potter ending on TMZ next week :P

I think Marvel did it just because..."hey, it's Comic-Con week. We should hype up the Avengers, shouldn't we?"

That being said, it's not like I DON'T wanna see Captain America now :D

Marvel's got a lot riding on this movie to succeed.

And really, this doesn't spoil anything.

We knew there was an Avengers movie.

We knew Captain America was going to make a magical leap through time to be apart of it.

Thankfully, this new trailer doesn't spoil the events that led up to this moment.

Not a big deal.

Basically the SECOND any of these marvel movies that introduce the avengers are released Marvel doesnt give a fuck about them any more, saying that the only thing that matters is the avengers. This bullshit was one of the reasons Iron Man 2 turned out like it did, and Favreau said he was done. Or in Thors awkward Hawkeye scene that felt like it was added for no good reason. Captain America was a Great movie, far better than it had to be, and the people who made it deserve a little more respect that having its ending shown online just weeks after it hit theatres, Just as a promotion for the Avengers

Let's be honest, they sacrificed the Captain America movie for this stupid Avengers movie.

Good movie, weird marketing tactic. Marvel really needs to learn that some things don't need to be spoiled early just to draw people in

I just feel like this further cements the fact that the studio just wanted to get a Captain America movie out before the Avengers just so he could be in it.
